After a tragic encounter where the dark, murderous nature of their leader comes to light, the survivors of The Prescott are rescued by the last remnants of the US Military and taken to one of the last human strongholds left against the undead plague, Cuba. There, at the end of her rope, Elle learns surprising news that only separates her further from her friends as she struggles to adjust to her new surroundings.

Kenshiro mourns his losses as he returns to his old life on the undead roads, and questions his own motives for staying behind. Fueled by a new purpose to be reunited with the people he cares about, Kenshiro stalks his way southward along the eastern coast.
